CoD Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Overview

Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 just kicked off with the addition of a ton of new features to be excited about. From a bunch of new weapons to game-changing attachments, new operators, and skins - the very first season of MW3 is packing a lot of content for every player who wishes to dive deep into the game. New Weapons

Season 1 of CoD MW3 introduces 5 new weapons available for free to all players. To obtain some of them players will have to complete the Battle Pass, but others are just seasonal and can be enjoyed without it. Here is a full list of all the new weapons that players will encounter in Season 1.

1. XRK Stalker: This sniper is vicious in good hands, killing enemies in one shot. On top of this, it is extremely customizable to accommodate various playstyles and encourage experimentation. You can unlock it via Sector A4 of the Battle Pass.
2. Ram-7: Extremely mobile and easy to carry around, this assault rifle is a great choice for anyone who likes to engage in fast-paced combat. You can unlock it via Sector A7 of the Battle Pass.
3. Stormender: This unique weapon system has infinite recharging ammo, and is able to take down enemy drones and kill streaks. While it doesn’t offer too much damage to enemies themselves, it can prove to be extremely useful in more tactical scenarios. You can unlock it via Sector A12 of the Battle Pass.
4. HRM-9: For all the loves of submachine guns, this 9mm beast is going to help deal with enemies quickly. Be precise with ADS or hipfire to keep your enemies down – this weapon can do both. Unlock it via Armory.
5. TAQ Evolvere: Get this LMG and deck it out with various attachments to get a weapon deadly to both foot soldiers and artillery. This is an in-season weapon.

New Attachments and Aftermarket Parts

Season 1 of MW3 also introduces new Aftermarket parts, each one of which provides its own unique benefits to the weapon it was installed on. Let’s take a look at those attachments.

JAK Purifier: Attach this under-barrel attachment to your gun to receive a portable flamethrower! Absolutely devastating at close distances, this attachment will make your enemies regret getting into close range with you.

JAK Thunder LMG Kit: Turn your Sidewinder battle rifle into a truly devastating weapon by converting it from BR into LMG. What's better is the fact that it shoots faster the longer you hold the trigger, making it more devastating the longer it is being fired.

JAK Ettin Double Barrel Kit: This is a great attachment if you want to dispatch your foes from afar. Make your AMR9 SMG effective at twice the distance in exchange for some accuracy.

JAK BRB: Like to just hold the trigger and let your gun do its thing? This attachment is for you. Reduce the recoil to the absolute lowest in exchange for being more visible on enemy radars.

JAK Bullseye: Get this low-profile dot sight if you like to have a clear view of the enemy at all times.

JAK Glassless Optic: Much like the Bullseye this sight attachment is great for anyone who prefers a crystal clear view of the objective and their enemies.

JAK Signal Burst: Control your Holger AR's bursts more effectively by using this conversion kit.

JAK Beholder Rifle Kit: Massively increase the range of your TYR handgun by turning it into a sniper rifle. That's right, improved damage, effective range, and recoil control will allow you to snipe with your handgun as effectively as you would with a rifle.

JAK Headhunter Carabine Conversion: If you are a fan of high control and burst damage on your SMG - this mod is made just for you.

New Operators, Events, and Challenges

Another addition to be excited about is three new operators joining the fight – Nolan, Dokkaebi, and an enigmatic Abolisher. Both Nolan and Dokkaebi use KorTac as their weapon of choice, while Abolisher prefers SpecGru instead. All three of these new operators will be granted to players right after purchasing a Season 1 Battle Pass from the in-game store. Aside from the new operators, we are also getting weekly challenges that span across all three game modes. This means that no matter which game mode you are putting most of your time into, be it Multiplayer, Zombies, or Warzone - you will still be progressing towards various juicy rewards. For example, Week 1's reward is an Aftermarket Part for your weapons.

Battle Pass and Prestige Rewards

Another system for getting amazing rewards is Prestige rankings. Just like in MW2, you can earn those after hitting rank 55 and progressing further. In the first season, there are five Prestige Ranks, encompassing a cumulative of 194 levels for progression. Each Prestige tier reveals a fresh array of challenges and rewards upon attainment.

You will also be able to progress further from your currently achieved rank after Season 1 comes to an end.
