Guide to the Azerothian Archives in Dragonflight

Azerothian Archives is a new community event introduced in patch 10.2.5. Players who participate in it can obtain various cosmetic rewards, as well as pets, and more. In this guide, we will take a look at the event itself, as well as the rewards that you can expect to obtain by participating in it.

Where is the Azerothian Archives Event Located?

Azerothan Archives event takes place in Azure Span and can be found near Iskaara, on the western side of this area. You can find the Azerothian Archives event icon on your map, and it will also have a handy countdown timer that will inform you how much time is left before the event begins.

How Long Does the Azerothian Archives Event Last?

The entirety of this event takes place over the course of about 9 minutes, but the downtime isn’t massive either. After the event runs its course, it will start again in just 5 minutes.

How does Azerothian Archives Event Work?

When the event is in progress and you arrive on site, you will see a percentage bar on the top of your screen. You can fill up said bar by interacting with objectives and collecting pages. After you reach 100% of the bar, you will receive a tomes as a reward. This bar can be filled multiple times throughout the event’s duration. At the end of the event, a dragon will appear – Doomshadow. Killing Doomshadow also grants you an additional 1000 pages.

Tomes that you get can be of three rarities – Dusty, Preserved, and Immaculate. When you interact with the tome you can turn it into Mysterious Fragments. Said fragments can be used to buy new cosmetic rewards from a nearby vendor. BLOG7

By participating in the event you can also progress the new reputation called Azerothian Archives (yes, just like the event itself!). You can also complete a weekly quest in the same area that will provide you with a bunch of event-related rewards, namely 5000 Mysterious Fragments and 3000 Azerothian Archives reputation.

1. The event lasts 9 minutes every 5 minutes.
2. Interact with objectives to receive pages.
3. Pages will fill the event bar.
4. The event bar can be filled multiple times throughout the event.
5. At the end of the event, you will have to fight a dragon for 1000 more pages.
6. Filling the bar to 100% grants you tomes.
7. Tomes can be exchanged for a new currency that is used to buy cosmetic rewards.
8. By participating in the event you also progress the new reputation.
9. There is a weekly quest for a bunch of event-related rewards.

As you can see, the event itself is rather simple and doesn’t take much time. This means that you can farm it without having to fully dedicate yourself to the game. This is especially true for everyone who wants to collect the cosmetics that are obtainable from this event. Speaking of the rewards, let’s take a look at them as well.

Azerothian Archives Rewards

Near the place where the event takes place, you can find a vendor called Provisioner Aristta. She sells a bunch of goodies for Mysterious Fragments. Let’s take a look at what she has to offer, and how much Mysterious Fragments it will cost.

Azerothian Archives Reputation

Apart from just grinding Mysterious Fragments, you might also be interested in progressing this new reputation of the same name – Azerothian Archives. It has a total of 5 reputation levels and requires quite a lot of rep to advance. Here is a full breakdown of each rank.

You can expect a sweet reward at each reputation level, and even a mount when you hit Tenured – Clayscale Hornstrider. As mentioned earlier, the fastest way to level this reputation will be just playing the event, however, don't forget about the weekly quest that will provide you with an additional 3000 points of reputation for its completion.

How to Send Mysterious Fragments to Alts

You can send Mysterious Fragments to your alts if you wish to do so. In order to do it, you have to buy a Mysterious Artifact that is sold by the same vendor as everything else in this event – Provisioner Aristta. This artifact can be sent to your alts, and when they use it they will receive 1000 Mysterious Fragments. It’s that simple!

Azerothian Archives Achievements

As usual with every new event, there are a bunch of achievements tied to it, including one big meta-achievement for completing every other one. By completing every single achievement you can receive 2 pets and a title.
