Types of Malignant Hearts
Season of the Malignant adds 4 types of infested sockets into the game. Malignant Hearts have to have a matching color, otherwise, they cannot be inserted into the item. Here is a list of all the colors that infested sockets can be.

- Vicious Heart - Red;
- Wrathful Heart - White;
- Devious Heart - Purple.
So far it has been confirmed that only Jewelry will have infested sockets, which means only items such as Rings and Amulets. However, as the season goes on the selection of items might be expanded.
