King's Fall Raid Overview

The King’s Fall raid sees Guardians take on Oryx, the Taken King. Players will have to embark on a thrilling adventure through the insides of Dreadnaught, fight their way through hordes of Hive and Taken enemies, to eventually emerge at the top of the gigantic ship to fight the Taken King Himself.

There are six encounters in King’s Fall, plus several jumping puzzles. Each encounter requires solid communications among the fireteam and a high level of individual player’s skill. Finding competent teammates in random LFGs and then trying to progress the raid can take a lot of time and cause frustration. Touch of Malice returns to Destiny 2 with a glow up! Its exotic trait is called Touch of Malice, where the final round in the magazine deals bonus damage to the target, while hurting the player. The round then regenerates itself. Defeating three targets with the final rounds grants a little bit of health. Dealing damage with the final round also charges the scout rifle’s secondary firing mode, which allows it to shoot a ball of Blight energy, dealing damage and blinding combatants.
