How World of Warcraft Prey System Works

Prey System is an optional open world-challenge, introduced to players in Midnight expansion. Prey is an activity where players complete Prey Hunts to defeat specific targets across the different zones Quel’Thalas. Prey completion will progress a Prey Journey track to unlock unique rewards. Multiple difficulties can be unlocked for greater challenges — and greater rewards.

When hunting a prey, players will have not only to kill a target, but hunt it down first. Completing a hunt will require completion of different objectives to determine where the target is located, then kill it. It’s essential to remember that when you pick a new target order, you not only mark yourself as a hunter, but as a prey. Prey isn’t a scripted encounter, instead it might trigger whenever you do any activity in Midnight zones. You never know when your prey will appear and an encounter will start. Killing a prey will progress Preyseeker’s Journey — seasonal track of your hunt progress.

WoW Prey Boosting

Prey boosting service provides you with new options, offering various currencies, pets, transmog, and mounts. Possible boost types include:

• Mounts;
• Currency farm — Remnants of Anguish;
• Housing items;
• Cosmetics — transmog and titles;
• Hero-track gear;
• Great Vault rewards.

It’s important to remember that Prey rewards are seasonal. Preyseeker’s Journey works similarly to Delver’s Journey. It features 10 ranks with associated rewards, entirely tied to Hunts.

Difficulty System in World of Warcraft Prey Boost

Prey hunts introduce different difficulty levels: Normal, Hard and Nightmare. Each comes with different affixes and rewards, locked behind Prey ranks. Extra affixes will require more objectives to be completed to draw out your target's location. While this does make your Hunts harder to complete, you get better rewards as a trade-off the difficulty level. There’s an opt/risk system in play, as you can lose progress by being not only a hunter, but also a prey.  Here’s the list of each difficulty with corresponding affixes:
