Last Epoch Faction List

There are currently only four factions in Last Epoch: Merchant’s Guild, Circle of Fortune, Forgotten Knights and The Woven. The first two are called item factions, and you are restricted to choosing only one. Forgotten Knights and the Woven are separate from item factions and can be leveled at the same time. Rank 4	Affixes are 50% more likely to be Exalted.	You can buy Idols in the Bazaar or directly from other players.	+6 Maximum Forging Potential gained by empowering a Nemesis.	+1 Weaver Tree Ponts; You can purchase 1 new Woven Echoes from the Masque.
Rank 5	35% chance for double rewards from Monolith Echoes.	You can buy Exalted Weapons and Offhands in the Bazaar or directly from other players.	20% additional Glyph of Envy drop chance from Harbingers.	+1 Weaver Tree Ponts; You can purchase 2 new Woven Echoes from the Masque.
Rank 6	Uniques are twice as likely to have Legendary Potential.	You can buy Exalted Armor in the Bazaar or directly from other players - Boots, Gloves, Helm, Body Armor.	The tiers of sealed affixes added by empowering a Nemesis are 15% higher on average.	+1 Weaver Tree Ponts; You can purchase 2 new Woven Echoes from the Masque.
Rank 7	T7 Affixes are twice as common.	You can buy Unique Weapons and Offhands with Legendary Potential in the Bazaar or directly from other players.	+1 Corruption gain per Gaze of Orobyss.	+1 Weaver Tree Ponts; You can purchase 2 new Woven Echoes from the Masque.
Rank 8	Items that would drop as Rare above level 44 have a 25% chance of becoming Exalted.	You can buy all Exalted items in the Bazaar or directly from other players.	Blessings roll their value twice and pick the highest roll.	+2 Weaver Tree Ponts; You can purchase 3 new Woven Echoes from the Masque.
Rank 9	When a Set item would drop, the whole set drops instead.	You can buy all Unique items, including those with Legendary Potential, in the Bazaar or directly from other Players.	Double chance for Harbingers to drop their specific Uniques.	+2 Weaver Tree Ponts; You can purchase 1 new Woven Echoes from the Masque.
Rank 10	Items from Prophecies are duplicated.	You can buy Legendary Weapons and Offhands in the Bazaar or directly from other players.	Slaying a Harbinger grants 1 additional Gaze of Orobyss.	TBA

To unlock factions in Last Epoch you’ll have to reach act 9 and complete the side quest called Merchants and Fortune Tellers.

Is there a penalty for switching factions in Last Epoch?

No, there are no direct penalties for switching factions, except the fact that you will not be able to use faction-bound items and lose all favor you’ve earned.
