After picking up the scythe, you'll meet Doan Karhan near Camp Taurajo in the Barrens, then follow a series of quests through the Eastern Plaguelands involving demon rituals, soul harvesting with Drain Soul, and empowering the scythe through combat trials.

The journey ends at Demon Fall Canyon in Ashenvale, where you must defeat Des’Altek solo to complete the quest and claim your fully empowered Scythe of Chaos, a powerful Warlock-only staff with pet-enhancing effects and a unique on-use ability.
