War Within Tier Set Overview
Welcome to our guide on TWW Tier Sets! If you’re looking to score some seriously cool gear, you’re in the right place. These WoW Tier sets are earned by taking on the latest raid challenges, like the epic Nerub’ar Palace Raid. But don’t worry — it’s not all sweat and strategy. We’re here to share the latest updates and give you a sneak peek at the amazing designs we’re all excited to get our hands on.
With Patch 11.0.0 dropping, we’re finally getting a look at the War Within Season 1 Tier Set Models, and trust us — they’re worth all the attention. These sets aren’t just about looking good (though they definitely do that); they also come with a serious boost of your character’s abilities.
The 2-piece bonus gives a nice bump to your key abilities or stats, but the real magic happens when you get the 4-piece bonus — it really takes your gameplay to the next level.
Here is a detailed overview of all the Nerub’ar Palace Tier sets for each class, so you know what to expect. And, of course, Boosthive is always ready to help you with acquiring any of those items and maximize your gameplay. Let’s dive in!
How To Get TWW Tier Sets
In World of Warcraft, Tier Sets are the ultimate prizes you can score from raiding, with each raid tier offering different sets tailored to various classes and roles. If you’re aiming for a complete Tier Set, there are a few ways to get your hands on all the pieces.
Usually, set gear drops from specific bosses in the latest raid instance of the current expansion. In WoW: The War Within, that means diving into the Season 1 Nerub’ar Palace Raid. The raid difficulty — whether you’re tackling Raid Finder (LFR), Normal, Heroic, or Mythic — affects the item level and strength of the set pieces. The tougher the raid, the higher the item level, and the better the bonuses you’ll score.
Recent expansions have added new features like the Great Vault, where your rewards also depend on the raid difficulty. Here’s the lowdown on getting The War Within Tier Set:
- Defeat 2 Raid bosses;
- Defeat 4 Raid bosses;
- Defeat 7 Raid bosses.
Once you hit those milestones, you’ll get three gear pieces. Keep in mind that the raid difficulty matters — Heroic rewards are decent, but Mythic rewards are on another level entirely.
Also, you can trade a special currency or token, earned in a raid, for a set piece. All you need to do is find the right vendor and make the exchange. Simple as that!
How to Craft Tier Sets
So, beyond just crossing your fingers and looting bosses in raids, you can actually craft your own Set items. In Season 1 LFR, you’ll get special tokens to craft set pieces that fit your class. Check out the table below to see what you can make.

In previous expansions, we had the Creation Catalyst and Revival Catalyst, which could turn non-set gear into set pieces. Blizzard has confirmed that The War Within will have a similar system using Catalyst charges. You’ll get your first charge at the start of the season, and then a new one every other week.
Just a heads-up: the quality of the set item you craft with a Catalyst charge will match the gear you’re reforging. So, it’s best to reforge higher ilvl purple (Epic) gear to make sure you’re getting the most out of each charge!
