The WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event begins on May 16th, 2024, at 10 am Pacific Time, with a global launch adapted to different time zones. What is the Pandaria Remix Event?

Players who want to play MoP Remix can create a new character to relive the Mists of Pandaria experience. Characters start at level 10 on the Timeless Isle and receive the Cloak of Infinite Potential after a brief introduction. Timerunning characters follow the Dragonflight version of WoW talents and spells and can level up to 70, exploring various zones, dungeons, scenarios, and raids within Pandaria.

Starting a Timerunning Character

To start, players select the Mists of Pandaria: Remix button on the character selection screen and then choose the Create Timerunning character option. Characters are created on the main World of Warcraft realms and start at level 10 in a special time bubble on the Timeless Isle. The introduction questline must be completed to earn the Cloak of Infinite Potential, but it can be skipped for subsequent characters after earning the cloak once.

Timerunning characters are confined to a special version of Pandaria and cannot leave, with teleportation items and portals to Stormwind/Orgrimmar disabled. These characters are marked with an hourglass icon in the character selection screen and chat channels.

Cloak of Infinite Potential

A key feature of the event is the Cloak of Infinite Potential, which players receive early on. This cloak can be enhanced with threads collected from various activities, permanently boosting the character's stats. Flying and Dragonriding in the Event

Both flying and dragonriding are enabled in Pandaria during Timerunning and can be accessed immediately after character creation. However, flying is restricted in the Isle of Thunder, Isle of Giants, and Timeless Isle, similar to how it is in the Retail version of WoW.

Post-Event Character Transition

Once the event ends, Timerunning characters convert to regular Retail WoW characters, making this event a unique way to level characters for the upcoming War Within expansion. At level 70, these characters will have an item level of 415. They are also eligible to complete Heritage questlines and receive rewards.
